ARMY 78 REGULAR RECRUIT INTAKE APPLICATION NOW ON

This is to announce to the general public that the candidate registration web portal for 78 Regular Recruit Intake for Trades/Non-Trades Men and Women is now open for Interested candidates.

Application Starts from 19TH DECEMBER, 2018 to 30TH JANUARY, 2019.


METHOD OF APPLICATION

Interested candidates are to:
  1. Make sure you are currently on the official recruitment portal https://naportal.com.ng
  2. Create a user account to enable you login. Your username must be a functional email
  3. Complete the application form, submit online and print a copy. Then, print and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate.

Basic Information

  1. Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and possess a National Identity Card.
  2. Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English Language.
  3. In addition to the above qualification, those applying for Tradesmen/women must also possess OND/Trades Test/City and Guild Certificate.
  4. Be between the ages of 18 – 22 years for non-tradesmen/women while tradesmen/women must be between the ages of 18 – 26 ears by 18 February 2019.
  5. Not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.62 metres tall for male and female candidates
  6. Knowledge of additional Nigerian language other than mothers tongue is an added advantage.
ALL DOCUMENTS WILL BE VERIFIED FROM THE APPROPRIATE ISSUING AUTHORITY. ALL THOSE WITH FAKE DOCUMENTS WILL BE HANDED OVER TO THE POLICE FOR PROSECUTION.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  1. There will be no Pre-selection Computer Based Test to be conducted on candidates.
  2. No special centre for recruitment.
  3. There will no Zonal Screening Exercise.
  4. All screening of potential recruits will be done at the candidates’ respective state of origin.
  5. Any candidates who falsifies or forges his/her results and discovered even during training at Deport NA would be withdrawn.
  6. All candidates are to report to the Screening Centres with their bank Verification Number Printout.
  7. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to give any form of gratification or inducement to any person or group of persons to assist them in the recruitment exercise.

The U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) in collaboration with Kebbi State Government (KBSG) invites African cooperatives, producer groups, and enterprises to submit proposals for grant financing and local support for innovative solutions that extend their capabilities to increase revenues, create jobs, improve farmer incomes, and achieve sustainable market-based growth.
Proposals will only be accepted from registered agricultural cooperatives, producer groups, and agricultural processors in KEBBI STATE working directly in the RICE, DAIRY AND GROUNDNUT sector(s).
Grant awards range in value from US $100,000 to a maximum $250,000. (Award amounts are based on the level of impact to revenue growth, jobs creation, income to farmers and sustainable growth.)

Nigerian Navy DSSC List of Successful Candidates for 2018 Interview



The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform the general public that Applicants whose names appear below were successful at the Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 26 Aptitude Test written on 1 December 2018.

Successful candidates are to report at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School Ojo, Lagos State on Saturday 15 December 2018 for an interview which will take place from 15 to 23 December 2018.

The Interview will involve the screening of academic certificates and credentials, medical and physical fitness tests, written and oral examinations.

Candidates are to come along with the following items:
  • Original and photocopies of academic certificates and credentials including:
    • National Identity Card (acknowledgement slip admissible).
    • First School Leaving Certificate and Senior Secondary School Certificates (WAEC, NECO etc), with scratch cards for verification of results (original copy of West African Examination Council Certificate is compulsory).

TEF Entrepreneurship Programme TEEP 2019 to Open in January



The countdown begins! On 1st of January 2019, at 12am, WAT, Tony Elumelu Foundation will begin accepting applications for the 5th cycle of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme. Outstanding African entrepreneurs who have start-ups or business ideas with high-growth potential are encouraged to apply.
Launched in 2015, the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme is the largest African philanthropic initiative committed to empowering African entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship on the continent.
Tony Elumelu, the chairman of TEF has committed $100 million to identify, train, mentor and fund 10,000 African entrepreneurs in 10 years; creating 1,000,000 jobs and $10 billion in social and economic wealth.
 
The 2019 edition will be the 5th cycle of the TEF Entrepreneurship Programme.
Since inception 4 years ago, 4,460 entrepreneurs have been funded and $25million investment till date.
In 2018 alone, 151,692 applications were received.
We have commenced our support for TEEP 2019.
The best time to get started is before the opening of the portal so that you can package a unique proposal for the competition and submit on time.
