Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.






(iii) Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.
(iv) However, candidates who do not meet any of the above requirements will be allowed to change to any other course whose requirements are met by the candidates. The change of course will attract a processing fee of N1,000 only payable at the screening venue.
(v) All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses.
(vi) Only ‘O’ Level result print-out(s) downloaded directly from the website(s) of the national examining bodies (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) or photocopies of the original certificate(s) will be accepted for verification. Candidates that already have their ‘O’ Level results MUST bring the results to the screening venue. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of candidates.
(vii) Candidates awaiting ‘O’ Level results are not qualified for the screening exercise.

How to FUTMINNA Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening.

UTME Candidates
On the page that appears, click on ‘UPASE-UTME Login’
  • Enter your JAMB registration number.
  • Enter one of your names.
  • Click on ‘Login’.
  • On a page that appears, you are required to upload your recent coloured passport photograph in JPG format (Width 150 px, Height 170 px).
  • Choose another course from the list of departments if your UTME/’O’ level subject combinations do not meet the minimum requirements for the course registered with JAMB.
NOTE: The system automatically detects if you have the required UTME subject combination and the minimum score for the programme selected.
  • Status of ‘O’ Level results (click on the appropriate box).
  • Click on ‘Proceed to payment gateway’.
  • Confirm your entries.
  • Click on the payment link button to proceed to payment gateway.
  • Payment is done through Debit Card (MasterCard – Most preferred) or Verve (only the ones enabled for online payment) or Bank branch (by generating RRR from application portal).
  • Enter ATM Debit card details (Card number, expiry date, CVV 2 i.e the 3 digits behind your card, and pin number)
NOTE: This automatically debits N2,250.00 only (the N250 is service charge for the Interswitch platform).
  • If payment is successful, the screen will display all the data you previously entered.
  • Click on the ‘Print’ button to print the document
  • Keep the printout and take it to the UPASE venue
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
All eligible candidates are required to come on the date indicated on their scheduling slips.
Candidates are to report at the Suleiman Kumo Convocation Square at the University Main Campus, Gidan-Kwano along Minna-Bida road with the following:
  • A printout of the 2018/2019 UTME or DE result slip bearing the candidate’s passport photograph (the Passport should not be affixed). The title of the course/programme of choice should be boldly written by the candidate on top of the result slip.
  • The printed 2018/2019 University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) scheduling slip.
  • A writing material (Biro or Pencil).
  • A simple scientific calculator (non-programmable) without cover.
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • No candidate will be allowed to participate in the screening exercise without complying with the above requirements.
  • The Main Campus at Gidan Kwano along Minna-Bida road is about 20 km away from the Bosso Campus of the University, which is inside Minna town.
  • Candidates without personal vehicles may board commercial buses at the rate of N80 to N100 at the Bosso Campus of the University.
  • Candidates are not allowed to bring GSM handsets or similar electronic gadgets into the screening hall. Such item(s) will be seized and will not be returned to the owners.
  • Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the law enforcement agents.
  • Any registered candidate who fails to report for the screening exercise on the date and time specified on the print-out automatically loses his or her chance of being screened for admission.
  • Candidates are advised to arrive at the Suleiman Kumo Convocation Square at the Main Campus, Gidan Kwano on the scheduled dates for the screening exercise at least one hour prior to the scheduled time on their slips.

KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY Post UTME / DE Screening Form


Kogi State University post UTME Form

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kogi State University, Anyigba, for the 2018/2019 Academic Session and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE, that the admission screening exercise will take place between 10th to 17th September, 2018. The admission screening will be through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in subjects similar to their UTME subject combination.
Candidates who made the University their SECOND CHOICE NEED NOT TO REGISTER for the Screening Exercise.

  • Only candidates with cut-off mark for the courses they apply for (as attached) with a minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in the relevant subjects.

KSU Post UTME Screening Registration Details.

  • To register online login to the University’s portal, http://www.kogistateuniversity.edu.ng/utme and click on “Apply Now” on the Side Menu
  • Candidates are to Login with their JAMB’s UTME number as user ID (example UTME No J245521) and “password” as the password. Candidates are advised to change this password at first log in.
  • Proceed to Online Payment by Clicking on “Pay UTME Fee” link to make payment of N2000 (Two thousand naira only)directly on the portal with your bank debit card /
  • After Successful payment, proceed to complete the application form by first completing the Bio Data form and other relevant information.
  • Candidate will be required to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport photograph (file size: not more than 200KB) with white
  • After completing the application form, Preview your application to ensure the information entered is correct then click on “Submit Application”.
  • After successful submission, candidates are required to print a “Registration Slip” as a means of identification into the Computer Based Test Examination (CBT) venue.
  • Candidates are advised to strictly adhere with the Screening date as shown on their Registration Slip.

Applications are hereby invited from interested 2018 UTME candidates who applied for admission into Yaba College of Technology for, National Diploma (ND) Full Time and B.SC. in Technical Education programmes (100 level). The application which is on-line will commence on Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

YABATECH Post UTME Eligibility.

The admission screening is open to candidates who chose Yaba College of Technology as their 1st or 2nd Choice of Institution and scored 150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 180 for B. Sc. Degree (100 Level) in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 2018/2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
However, all candidates who have chosen YABATECH as 2nd Choice of Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to be eligible for admission. All candidates must not be less than 16 years old by October, 2018.

How to Apply for YABATECH Post UTME.

Applicants are to pay a fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) (excluding result verification fee) for the exercise using their ATM Card (Master Card, Visa, Verve) by clicking on PAY NOW. The application process can also be run on mobile devices (Smart Phones, IPAD, Tablets and other Internet enabled devices). The candidates are expected to upload their photograph in JPEG or PNG format and not more than 120 x 120 pixel.
Candidates should visit the College website at www.yabatech.edu.ng. Click on POST UTME SCREENING 2018/2019 and complete the application process appropriately.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
Candidates are advised to supply correct data on the portal as they will be responsible for any error made during registration and any wrong information given on Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and O’Level details will disqualify the candidate.
Inconsistency in name or picture on photo card will not be accepted by the College and may lead to disqualification of concerned candidates.
Candidates’ names on their O’level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.

  • The Armed Forces Selection Board Interview for 70 Regular Course of Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) took place from 22 June - 5 August, 2018.
  • The List of Successful Candidates could be obtained at the NDA Official Website: www.nda.edu.ng The candidates have been offered admission into NDA for the 70 RC.
  • The Successful candidates are to report to NDA Permanent Site at AFAKA, on Friday, 24 August, 2018. Any candidate who fails to report on Monday, 27 August, 2018 will forfeit his or her place to a candidate in the reserve list
  • Selected candidates will be received on arrival at the reception centre located at the Academy Parade Ground permanent site at AFAKA.

UNIJOS Post UTME / Direct Entry Screening Form 2018/2019

This is to inform candidates who made the University of Jos (UNIJOS) their institution of first choice and scored 180 and above in the 2018 UTME that the University screening portal will be opened from Monday, 13th to Friday, 31st August, 2018 for the UTME and Saturday, 18th to Friday, 31st August, 2018 for the Direct Entry online screenings.
The deadline for the online screening of bio-data/credentials may not be extended. Therefore, any candidate whose screening details are not submitted within the stipulated time will not be considered for admission.
Candidates Eligible for UNIJOS Admission Screening Exercise.
All candidates who made the University of Jos their 1st choice and scored 180 marks and above in the 2018 UTME JAMB examination.

UNIJOS Admission Screening Details & Instructions.

  1. Any candidate who fails to complete the online screening will automatically forfeit the chance of being considered for admission.
  2. Withholding information or provision of wrong information will lead to instant disqualification. Offenders shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution in addition to being disqualified.
  3. Candidates are required to upload their current passport photographs.
  4. Candidates’ results will be screened according to the entry requirements of the respective programmes that they have chosen.

How to Apply for UNIJOS Post UTME.

Each candidate shall pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00), only (excluding Bank charges) for the screening.
Payment shall be made through Remita collection platform at any Commercial Bank operating in Nigeria as follows:
1. Bank Branch:
  • Visit Bank Branch operating in Nigeria
  • Present your payment to the Teller (over-the-counter) and say you want to pay University of Jos Pre-Admission Screening Fee via the Remita platform.
2. Remita Collection Platform:
  • Access the collection platform via www.remita.net
  • Click “Pay Federal Government Agency”
  • Enter “UniJos Pre-Admission Screening” as payment details
  • Enter the required details including your JAMB Number and Full Name
  • Select any preferred electronic payment channels (ATM cards, Internet Banking, Mobile Wallet, POS, e.t.c.) to complete your payment.
  • The payer will be issued an electronic receipt following payment, which he/she will keep for further processing.
Candidates are strongly advised against patronizing road side Business Centres for making payment. ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE VERIFIED BEFORE ADMISSION PROCESSING.
After Payment, then: Visit University of Jos Portal https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/ for registration procedure as follows:
  1. Create an Account using your email address and phone number. A verification e-mail is automatically sent to your email.
  2. Log into your e-mail and click on the confirmation link to enable you continue your registration.
  3. Complete your registration by providing your Bio-data information, including ‘O’ Level details, payment details (RRR and Date); upload your passport photograph and other information as required.
  4. Click the ‘submit’ button to save your details on the University Portal.
  5. Print Pre-Admission Screening slip and keep it for further processing.
NOTE:
Misrepresentation/falsification of documents is a serious offence. Candidates are, therefore, advised to submit genuine documents only. Anyone found guilty of this offence will be disqualified automatically and in appropriate cases, handed over to the Law Enforcement Agencies.

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the commencement of the sale of 2018 National Business Certificate (NBC) / National Technical Certificate (NTC) and General Education Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) / Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) application form.

Where to Purchase NABTEB GCE Form.

Registration PINs/Slots for the above named examinations for private candidates are available for purchase at:
a. NABTEB Zonal Offices in Abuja, Kaduna, Yola, Osogbo, Enugu and Benin City,
b. NABTEB Liaison Office in Abuja,
c. NABTEB Area Office in Lagos,
d. NABTEB State offices Nationwide and
e. NABTEB National Headquarters, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City.
Approved NABTEB centres are free to enter candidates for the examinations but they should obtain Registration PINs/Slots for each candidate from the designated selling points.

The management of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) invites suitably qualified candidates to its 2018/2019 academic session post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.
Registration for UNIABUJA post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise begins on 1st August, 2018 and ends on 7th September, 2018 

UNIABUJA Post UTME/DE Screening Eligibility.

To be eligible for the screening exercise, the candidate must have:
  • Participated in the 2018 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or applied through Direct Entry (DE) mode.
  • Scored not less than 180 marks in the 2018 UTME.
  • Possess at least five “O” level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects.
  • The candidate must have chosen University of Abuja as first choice in the 2018 UTME.

How to Apply for UNIABUJA Post UTME.

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only), through Remita Platform via the University of Abuja 2018 Post-UTME Screening Portal.
Before commencement of registration, a Candidate is required to have his/her JAMB/ UTME registration number and O’Level examination qualifying details handy with the respective results check scratch card details before proceeding to commence this application.
  1. Visit the University of Abuja 2018 Post-UTME Screening Portal at www.uniabujautme.com/putme and create your profile.
  2. To create your profile, fill the opened form as follows:
    1. Input your JAMB/ UTME registration number.
    2. E-mail Address (Username)
    3. Phone number
    4. Create a Password.
  3. Click (Proceed)
  4. Make your payment by Clicking on the “[Proceed]” button. Kindly note that you shall be re-directed to the Remita payment platform. The only acceptable payment option is by ATM.
    ATM Payment Procedure:
    1. Click [pay to proceed icon]
    2. Select card type (Master Card, Verve Card etc)
    3. Upon Confirmation, click proceed
    4. On unified payment-Enter card details and click OK
    5. Authentication SMS will be sent to your phone
    6. Enter the OTP number received and click submit
    7. After making the payment, go back and log to the university of Abuja site- www.uniabujautme.com/putme with your username (JAMB/ UTME registration number) and password.
  5. Candidates are required to provide information about their O’Level results. Please note that this stage is critical, as any incorrect information a candidate provides shall result in outright disqualification of the candidate.
    1. Fill in the results check scratch card details for the applicable O’Level examination body (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
    2. Candidate specifies mode of entry, that is, UTME or DE
    3. The candidate selects the Course and Faculty/ College he /she had chosen in the 2018 UTME exercise.
    4. On selection of the course the Candidate applied for in the displayed form, a list of requisite subjects applicable to that course appears.
    5. Fill in the grades in the drop-down table. Again note: incorrect information shall result in outright and automatic disqualification of the candidate.
    6. Candidate then clicks on the “[Submit]” Button.
    7. Candidate may repeat steps 5 a. – c. in situation where the candidate combines results.
      Note: Some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed
  6. Candidates should note:
    1. The O’Level results fetched in this process and used by the candidate to fill this online screening form is what shall be presented for verification, if the candidate is admitted.
    2. Any discrepancy between results entered at this stage and credentials presented for verification at point of admission into the programme, shall invalidate the candidate’s provisional admission.
  7. Kindly note that O’Level results and number of sittings are weighted.
  8. After a candidate fills the form, they accept the “Terms and Conditions” by clicking on the submit button and can take print out after executing the “[Submit]” button. Return to the University of Abuja 2018 Post UTME Screening website within a week to check for your results.

NYSC Batch ‘B’ Stream II Online Registration Guide and Requirements 2018

This is to inform all prospective corps members, i.e. Nigerians who have graduated from Universities and Mono/Polytechnics both home and abroad, that the NYSC registration portal will be opened from Monday, 6th – Thursday, 16th August, 2018 to enable them register for the 2018 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 mobilization.

Some Tips to guide PCMs during NYSC Online Registration:
1. Do not thumb print by proxy. (Nobody should thumbprint for you; thumbprint should be done by you).
2. Make sure the passport photograph uploaded is very clear.
3. Do not forget the Username and Password used during your online registration.
4. Apply for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of names on your dashboard. It is ongoing even after the Orientation Exercise.
5. Cross- check your records before submission to avoid wrong details.

NYSC Online Registration Procedure and Requirements.

NOTE:

  • The following Website address are NYSC Official portals:
  •  Check Senate list for verification of your records.
  •  If you are registering for the first time, click on ” Registration for Mobilization 2018 Batch B”.
  •  If you have registered previously and did not complete your Registration or Submit, do not create a new account instead click on “Login Here” to continue your registration with your previous Username and Password.
  •  If you were mobilized in the previous Batches and have registered online before but unable to proceed to Orientation Camp, Click on “Revalidation” link to re-validate your registration.

How to Make Payment on NYSC Portal Via Remita.

The PCM should go to the portal home page (https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc2/)and follow the following steps:
  • STEP 1
    • Click on “already Have Account”-Click here to login.
  • STEP 2
    • PCM enters Email id and password to login
  • STEP 3
    • PCM clicks on “click here to make payment”.
    • After a successful login,The PCM will click on “Proceed to Payment,” once the payment confirmation page is displayed, the PCM will be redirected to Remita Payment Engine with various payment options.
  • Option A: For Cards and Wallet Payments;
    • PCM clicks on “Pay now with Cards or Wallets”
    • PCM provides card details, pin and any other information required and if the transaction is successful, the redirect URL is loaded
    • status of the transaction..
  • Option B Paying in any Bank Branch:
    • Copy the RRR number generated by NYSC portal and take to any of the approved banks. Click on “see available bank branches” to view the banks.
    • After making the payment at the bank branch, the PCM can check payment status on the URL: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/Transactionstatus_Remita.aspx PCM inputs transaction reference number/email id or phone number used in Registering online. Click on “continue” to query Remita and view the transaction detail?
    • Click on “Get status” to view the details of payments.


In order to ensure a seamless registration, Prospective Corps Members (PCM) are to note the following for strict compliance:

  1. Prospective Corps Members should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register. Such e-mail address and phone numbers must be maintained throughout the service year.
  2. Locally trained PCM are expected to use correct Matriculation numbers to register.
  3. For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result lists submitted by their Institutions will have access to the register on the NYSC portal.
  4. Foreign-trained prospective Corps Members should NOTE that ONLY those that graduated from accredited institutions are qualified for mobilization. Any foreign-trained prospective Corps Member who is in doubt of the accreditation status of his/her institution should approach the Federal Ministry of Education for verification.
  5. Foreign-trained Nigerian graduates are to visit the NYSC portal, register and upload the following documents:
    1. West African School Certificate (WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent
      or,
      General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent
      or,
      NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent
      or,
      NABTEB (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or its equivalent
      or,
      High School Diploma or its equivalent for those who attended school in the USA, etc.
    2. Certificates are not qualified to register.
    3. Complete official transcript of the First Degree or HND programme.
    4. International Travelling Passport showing the following pages;
      1. Personal Data.
      2. Visa to the country of study.
      3. Date of first departure to the country of study and
      4. Date of arrival in Nigeria.
    5. Graduates with dual nationalities are required to upload Personal Data Pages of both international passports and present the passports for physical verification at the orientation camp.
    6. It is the responsibility of the prospective corps members who studied in non-English speaking countries to get their Certificates and Transcripts translated into English language before uploading. The translated transcripts and certificates should also be presented for physical verification.
    7. All graduates of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Physiotheraphy, Radiology, Optometry, Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with their professional bodies. Payment receipts are not acceptable.
  6. Foreign-trained graduates seeking mobilization for national service should NOT visit NYSC Headquarters, Abuja, for physical verification of their documents. The exercise will be done at the orientation camps. They are to print their call-up letters online and report to the orientation camps in their states of deployment.Foreign-trained graduates are expected to go to the camps with the original documents they uploaded for verification.
  7. Provisional certificates, To Whom It May Concern, on-line print-out, scanned and photocopies of credentials are not acceptable.
  8. Foreign-trained graduates who registered for Exemption Certificate shall present all their original academic credentials and international passport for physical verification when they come to collect the certificate at the National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja.
  9. All foreign-trained graduates who registered and are excluded from service should also present original academic credentials and international passport at the NYSC NDHQ, Abuja, for physical verification before Exclusion Letters are printed on-line.
  10. All foreign-trained prospective Corps Members who registered but were not called up for service in the last batch should log on to the NYSC portal to revalidate their registration. This category of persons need not pay N3,000.00 (three thousand naira) again.
  11. Anybody who presents any fake document will be demobilized and decamped.
  12. Prospective corps members should ensure that Passport photographs used meet the following specifications:
    1. Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending
    2. Ensure the picture fills the frame and centralized
    3. Ensure the Photo background is white or off-white with no shadow.
  13. On no account should prospective corps members register by PROXY. They should also remember the fingers used for their biometric capturing as these will be used for verification at the orientation camps. Those who cannot be verified with their biometric at the orientation camp will not be registered.
  14. Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) (see NYSC Portal on how to make payment).
  15. PCM who do not want to pay the N3,000.00 have the option of going to their schools to collect their call-up numbers and call-up letters.
  16. All prospective corps members who paid for the online registration before but were not mobilized need not pay again.
  17. Married female prospective corps members (whether locally or foreign-trained) should upload copies of their marriage Certificates, evidence of Change of name and their husbands’ place of domicile during registration.
  18. The orientation camp is highly not ideal for pregnant and nursing mothers. Prospective corps members in this category are therefore to note that they will not be accommodated.
  19. Prospective Corps Members with serious health challenge should indicate their TRUE HEALTH STATUS during registration to enable concessional deployment for them.

The Federal Polytechnic, Idah hereby announces to the general public, especially its prospective students, that it has commenced the sale of post UTME screening forms for the 2018/2019 academic session.
Candidates Eligible for Federal Polytechnic Idah Post UTME.
All candidates who took the Federal Polytechnic, Idah as their Institution of choice and obtained the minimum cut-off mark/score of 140 in the 2018/2019 UTME and also have the required relevant credit passes as contained in the JAMB brochure are eligible.

How to Apply for Federal Poly Idah Admission Screening.

  1. Candidates are expected to make a payment of two thousand naira (₦2,000.00) only.
  2. Candidates are advised to visit The Federal Polytechnic, Idah website, i.e., www.fepoda.edu.ng and follow the steps below to make payment on-line, fill their details and print out the screening slip:
    1. click on “Screening Payment”;
    2. fill the form with valid e-mail address and password containing at least eight(8) characters in alphabets and numbers and print out the Payment Invoice with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR);
    3. take the printed Payment Invoice to any bank for the payment of the two thousand naira (₦2000.00); and
    4. go back to the School website to complete the registration with the following data by clicking on “Finish Registration”.
      • JAMB Registration Number, JAMB Score, State of Origin, First, Second, and other choices of courses;
      • Upload passport-sized photograph of not more than 22kb in size; and
      • Print out the form (Admission Screening Details).
CLOSING DATE AND SCREENING EXERCISE
  1. Purchase and submission of forms on-line will close by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday 23rd August, 2018.
  2. Eligible candidates are expected to attend the screening in two batches as follows:
    • Friday 24/08/2018 – Candidates from all the departments in School of Engineering; School of Technology; and School of Environmental Studies.
    • Saturday 25/08/2018 –Candidates from the departments in the School of Business Studies (SBS) and School of General and Administrative Studies (SOGAS).
Admitted candidates would be expected to complete the Federal Polytechnic, Idah admission Form on-line (procedures are contained therein).

The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu hereby announces to the general public, especially its prospective students, that it has commenced the sale of forms for the 2018/2019 academic session post UTME screening exercise.
The screening exam which will be computer-based, takes place from Monday, September 10, 2018 to Friday, September 14, 2018 by 8: am daily.
The screening exercise is open to all candidates who scored 120 and above in the 2018 UTME.

How to Apply for IMT Post UTME.

Applicants should commence registration immediately using the following procedure:

  • Fill the application form.

OAU Post-UTME / DE Screening Form 2018/2019

The Management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU invites suitably qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates to its 2018/2019 academic session admission screening exercise.

Candidates That Are Eligible for OAU POst UTME/DE Screening.

Candidates who made the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice in the 2018 UTME and scored 200 and above, and those who applied for Direct Entry (DE).

OAU Admission Screening General Requirements.

The minimum entry requirements to the first year is a General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with Credit passes in at least five subjects chosen from a list approved from time to time by Senate provided that in each case all the five subjects are taken and passed at not more than two sittings.
  1. One of the passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in English Language.
  2. Except in the cases of candidate for admission to the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Law, and for the Bachelor of Arts in Education in the Faculty of Education, one of the credit passes shall be a pass at ‘O’ Level or equivalent in Mathematics.
  3. A pass in the General Paper of the Higher School Certificate is regarded as equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at ‘O’ Level.

How to Apply for OAU Post UTME Screening Exercise.

To commence the on-line screening, candidates are required to log on to University eportal (admissions.oauife.edu.ng) to register for the POST-UTME screening exercise effective from August 6, 2018. The candidates are required to visit admissions.oauife.edu.ng directly and login with their JAMB Registration Number to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.
Applicants for the Screening Exercise will be required to do the following on the University admissions portal

1.      Update JAMB data
2.      Upload Results (i.e WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc)
3.      Upload scanned copy of credentials
4.      Upload passport photograph (if not available)
5.      Print completed Admission Screening form
Applicants that provide false information, or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.
The closing date for screening of all candidates UTME/DE is 31st August 2018
Candidates will also be required to participate in the Post-UTME screening on their allotted date and time between 1st and 7th September, 2018.  
Applicants should note that the screening fee is N2,000. They will however be required to pay appropriate bank charges.

Candidates The Are Eligible for FUPRE Post UTME.

Candidates who made the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun their Choice in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and had a total score of 180 and above are eligible to take part in FUPRE Post UTME Screening Exercise.
Candidates who have five (5) O’ Level credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) or, are awaiting results which shall be released before the completion of the admission exercise are eligible to apply.

FUPRE Post UTME Registration Procedures.

1) Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only as Screening fee.
2) Applicants should visit www.fupre.edu.ng from Monday, 30th July, 2018 to Monday, 13th August, 2018 to do their registration.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION:
1. Candidates should scan and upload their recent coloured Passport size Photograph (taken on red background) of not more than 50KB in JPEG format in the space provided on the on-line registration form.
2. Any entry form without a passport photograph as (described in 1. above) uploaded on it, will not be accepted. The uploaded Passport Photograph will be the only valid I.D for all admitted candidates throughout their studentship in the University.
3. Ensure that the on-line forms are carefully filled, following ALL necessary instructions, as purported Mistake(s) may lead to disqualification. Note also that deliberate disregard of instructions or failure to comply with the instructions may disqualify a candidate.
4. Ensure that you use a password that you can remember to enable you access your result and confirm your admission status subsequently.
5. Kindly use functional e-mail addresses and Mobile Phone Numbers to enable the University contact you in the course of the Admission Exercise, whenever the need arises.
6. Preview your online completed form and confirm that all information are correct. Thereafter, click the ‘SUBMIT’ button and print your confirmation page. Corrections are not allowed after submission.

SCREENING DETAILS:
All candidates are required to bring along the following items to the screening venue:
i) Remita printout indicating payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only as Screening Fee.
i) A copy of their on-line registration form printed in colour and three (3) photocopies
ii) Three (3) copies of JAMB UTME notification of results
iii) Four (4) coloured passport size photographs (red background) with their names at the back of the passport. The passport photograph must be the same with the one used for the online registration as photo ID.
iv) HB pencils and other writing materials
Please Note:
i). Candidates are not allowed to bring cell phones or any other electronic gadgets into the screening venue. Only JAMB calculators (or non-scientific calculators) are allowed.
ii). Any UTME candidate who fails to produce himself/herself for the screening exercise will NOT be considered for admission.
