The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board is committed with a clear mandate to be a leader in support of the pursuits of academic excellence and to make bursary and scholarship easy and readily accessible to all our students across the globe using modern technologies in the delivery of our services.

The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has announced the commencement of the online bursary registration of students for the State Government's 2018/2019 Students' Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS) from Friday, 15th February to Wednesday 13th March, 2019.

Applications are therefore invited from qualified Delta State Students in Public Government Owned Tertiary Institutions to participate in the 2018/2019 Students' Special Assistance Scheme (Bursary Award).

Eligibility
All Applicants must:
  • Be of Delta State Origin;
  • All applicant above 18 years of age MUST have registered with National Identification Management Commission (NIMC);
  • All applicant below 18 years of age MUST submit JAMB registration number;
  • Be a Registered full time student only of any Public Tertiary Institutions;
  • Diploma, Masters and PhD Students are not eligible;
  • Either be in Second year or above (200 to 500 level) in the Universities; Or Be in ND II, HND I and HND II in the Polytechnics / Monotechnics;
  • Be in 200 level and above for all Higher Institution
  • Only approved public and private owned schools (University, Polytechnics and College of Educations) are Eligible to apply
  • Have a CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year's examination.

  • Two pairs of pure white canvas/trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).

  • National dress or suit and casual wears.

Important Information
  • The above link also contains Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) candidates that were screened along with others in 20 Battalion Serti but were found more suitable for Short Service Combatant (SSC) commission given their young age, enthusiasm and bearing amongst others. Consequently, they are hereby offered SSC instead of DSSC. The offer is however at the discretion of the candidates if they so desire to have a combatant career in the Nigerian Army.

NIGERIAN AIRFORCE RECRUITMENT EXERCISE 2019

APPLICATION FOR NIGERIAN AIR FORCE AIRMEN/AIRWOMEN RECRUITMENT EXERCISE (BMTC 2019)

GUIDELINES
1.        Interested applicants are to apply free of charge online at www.airforce.mil.ng/page-careers.
2.        Applicants are to apply once, multiple online application will be disqualified.
3.        Applicants are to print out the underlisted documents after completion of application online:
a.            Local Government Indigeneship Form.
b.            Attestation Form to be signed by Military officer or Local Government Chairman.
c.             Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
d.            Acknowledgment Form.
QUALIFICATIONS
4.        Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
5.        Applicants must not be less than 1.66m tall for male and not less than 1.63m tall for female.
6.        Non Tradesmen/Women.
a.        Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 22 years by 31 December 2019.
b.        Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.
7.        Tradesmen/Women.
a.        Applicants applying as tradesmen and women must be between 18 and 25 years of age except for those applying as assistant chaplains/assistance imams and drivers who must be between 18 and 28 years.
b.        Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 passes with a credit in English in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB and must possess at least a lower credit in ND/NCE or any relevant trade certificates from reputable and approved government institutions/organisations.
c.        Drivers must posses a minimum of 2 passes with a credit in English and trade test certificate.
d.        Applicants applying as sportsmen/women are to present evidence of their professional experience which will include certificates and medals.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPOWERMENT SCHEME - (P-YES) REGISTRATION

P-YES PROGRAMME

 P-YES Programme abbreviated for Presidential Youth Empowerment Programme. P-YES like NPOWER, is another empowerment programme of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s job creation initiatives, administered through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth & Students Affairs (OSSAP-YSA), which to empower 774,000 youths with startup tools and not cash. The following are all you need to successful apply for p-yes initiative.

Requirements for application

The scheme will be accessible to the literate, semi-literate and the non-literate population.
The threshold for qualification is set at the basic ability and capacity to learn and be teachable.
In addition to the fore going, the following is set as the basic pre-conditions for enlistment;
  • Applicant must be a Nigerian male or female between the ages of 18 and 40.
  • Applicant must have a means of identification (National Identity card, International Passport, Permanent Voters Card- PVC).
  • Applicant must provide a Second Level Beneficiary (SLB) to qualify for benefitting from the scheme.
  • Ability to communicate in Basic English language and or any local Nigerian language.
  • Provable upright character and a stable mind.
  • Applicant must provide a guarantor preferably a community or religious leader.
  • Ability to secure the endorsement of a local government official.
  • Beneficiary should posses the capacity to transfer knowledge and mentor pairs within their communities.
